Almost a week into NaNoWriMo and I’m already behind in my word count! But that’s okay-I got a lot going on this month!
Coming up on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm, I’ll have a vendor table at the North Woodside Community Centre for their annual Kris Kringle Craft Show! I was a vendor last year and had a great time. Hope to see you there for some holiday cheer, crafts, and pancakes!

Speaking of events, I had a wonderful time at Booktoberfest! The event featured tons of local authors and there were cupcakes for all. I got to meet some fellow writers, experience a wide variety of readings, and even made a few book sales!

I have a couple of publications to look forward to as well! Aside from the story in Eibonvale Press’s upcoming anthology (est. summer 2023 release), I also have a little something featured in a zine being released in Windsor next month! I’ll post more about that soon 🙂
And NaNoWriMo month is off to a great start, in spite of the fact I’m a few thousand words behind. I’m working on a fantasy story based on a short thing I wrote last summer. It’s really taking on a life of it’s own, and having the Halifax group to do virtual writing sprints with and meet up for write-ins has been so, so good. I can’t remember the last time I actually wrote in the same room with other folks!

I’ve been posting more on my TikTok and Instagram pages lately, so if you want to know what books I’m reading and what I’m working on, those are the places to look.
Cheers!
